Revisiting the Mentinah Archives
I have decided through much thought and prayer to add the Mentinah Archives to this site. I am only going to use the archives to expand my theory of the history of the Native Americans on this blog site. I will not go into the spiritual messages found in the texts. I believe this will cause too much contention and arguements which I don’t want on this blog. I will leave it up to you to determine the authenticity of the archives.
Please visit the Mentinah page for more details.
Disclaimer:
I am in no way a member or affiliated with the Nemenhah tribe or the Native American Church. I am only a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am doing this entirely on my own with no endorsements from the LDS Church or any other group, religious, political, etc.

I think you ought to talk about the spiritual messages, too. I don’t see why it will cause contention. If they throw additional light upon the scriptures we already have, then by all means, bring up that light.
I haven’t read them, yet, but plan to one day. Have you read the entire collection, or just some of it?

Thanks for your support. I am not sure how well these archives will be received. After my last discussion with a commenter I am a little unsure about talking about the spiritual messages but I will consider it. I haven’t yet read all of the archives, yet, but I am working on it. There is a lot to read. If you have any other input please let me know. I am alone in this with not much support.

I read the blogs written so far on the Mentinah Archives. Those filled me with joy to see. I am Ea-lea Powitz Peopeo, chief of publishing these family records. I know as publisher I should stay somewhat neutral. However, I want you to know I know these records are authentic through the pattern the Lord has established to find truth, the pattern many of you have already followed to come to know the Book of Mormon is also authentic. The Lord has begun the work He promised He would and these are part of that work. I know He will bring forth many more records, that these are like the first drops in a huge rainstorm, but these are the only ones we have responsibility for at this time. These records are significant and there is not a mistake on how they are being brought forth or who have been called to bring them forth. We live in a culture that has assumed many things and we all are going to have to rethink, grow line upon line as the Lord brings out more information. If we were right in our assumptions, we would have Zion already. But we are not. The Lord loves all of us and He is doing His work as promised to help all who want it. Please, keep the commandments. Uphold the principles of the restored Gospel, like reading and seeking personal revelation and confirmations from the Holy Ghost. Let the Lord teach you what is man’s interpretation from the culture we all live in and what is His ways. Again, I know these records are authentic. It has been a great blessing and a thrill to be part of it coming forth. I will be happy to answer any question you may have for me, but I refuse to participate in arguments. May God bless you in all you do!

i am 17 years old and have been raised in the lds church and have been introduced to these records and fully believe in them. i have read them just how we are taught to read our own book of mormon and have no doubts they are real. so watching people older than me and claim to be wiser and more experienced in things makes me kind of sad that they will not practice what they teach and read with an open mind and pray about things and you will get confirmation about it… my suggestion is to just read it how you would the book of mormon and find out for yourselves. i promise if done right it will be such a sacred experience and you will keep reading through them again and again and you wont need to blog for confirmation.
